It is a beautiful road of 60 km which will lead you to the Atlas by approximately 1000 m of altitude. This valley inhabited by Berber tribes is one of the most beautiful of the average Atlas. You’ll discover the small cob hamlets suspended on the red sides of the mountain, and the fresh banks of the Oued (river).
It’s 10° to 15°C of less compared to Marrakech.
It is interesting to make this excursion Monday, day of the Souk in Dar Caïd Ouriki or Friday, day of the Ghmat Souk.
The market is held in an enclosure planned for the circumstance. Quantities of donkeys are parked close to the river. Do not be surprised by their number: the donkey, providential animal being used for transport, holds a paramount role in the country life.
